Hosting
This website is hosted by Netlify. When you visit it, technically necessary data (e.g. IP address, time of access, page requested) is processed in server logs in order to deliver and secure the website.
Contact form
If you write to us using the form, we process the data you provide (name, email, message) solely to handle your enquiry. The data is transmitted via the form service of our hosting provider, Netlify.
Online eye test
The online eye test runs entirely in your browser. If you use the optional camera function, the camera image remains local to your device — it is neither transmitted nor stored.
Embedded third-party services
For display purposes, we use Google Fonts (typefaces) and, on the contact page, an embedded map from Google Maps; appointment booking takes you to the Cituro booking service. When this content is loaded, your IP address is transmitted to the respective provider.
Web analytics (Google Analytics)
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) and Google LLC (USA), to understand which pages and features are used and how we can improve the website. This sets cookies (_ga, _ga_*, lifetime no more than 13 months) and transmits data such as pages visited, approximate location (country/region), device type and browser to Google in pseudonymised form; Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. Advertising features and linking with Google accounts ("Google Signals") are disabled. Results of the online eye test (e.g. estimated dioptres) are not transmitted to Google.
Data may be transferred to the USA. Google LLC is certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; for certified companies, the USA is deemed by the Swiss Federal Council to provide an adequate level of data protection.
Measurement only takes place if you choose "Yes, okay" in the cookie notice. Without consent, no Google script is loaded. Your choice is stored locally in your browser (12 months). You can change or withdraw it at any time via Cookie settings (also in the footer of every page).
Your rights
You have the right to access your personal data and to have it corrected or deleted. To do so, simply contact us at info@mylaservision.ch.
This privacy policy is a short version; a complete legal version is currently being prepared. The applicable law is the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP).
